 Dutch Barn

BEST VIEWED WITH MOBILE SIDEWAYS

The rusty barns presented an interesting challenge for us; they either needed knocking down or converting. They had been refused for planning  permission twice previously so required a new approach. We worked closely with our client to develop a contemporary scheme which complemented the unusual ‘Dutch Barn’ shape of the two-storey barn. The structural design of the barn was also developed at planning stage and we were able to gain planning consent on the building to bring them back into use as a dwelling.

As part of the proposal for our client we also provided photo-realistic renders which enabled the planners and potential buyers to see the barn brought to life as a family home.
